Hillsboro Trojan Family Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Hillsboro Trojan Family Memorial Scholarship (HTFMS) fund was established in 2020 by a committee of the Hillsboro Community Foundation board members.

The scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to current graduating Hillsboro High School seniors and/or non-traditional students who graduated from Hillsboro High School who are furthering their careers through higher educational or vocational pursuits full-time. Qualified individuals are those who plan to attend a public or private college/university or vocational, technical, or trade school.

The scholarship will be given based on a combined criterion of financial need, potential success in college, as well as the student’s involvement in school and community activities.

Donations to fund the endowment of the scholarship are currently being accepted from alumni, friends, and other supporters of the Hillsboro Unified #410 school district areas, including the communities
of Durham (Durham Hornets) and Lehigh (Lehigh Eagles). Gifts can be made either in honor or
in memory of a classmate, faculty or staff member. The Hillsboro Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Central Kansas Community Foundation, based out of Newton, KS.
