Since 2004, HCF and its donors have issued grants and scholarship awards of more than $1,215,000 in the following areas:

HCF Grants and Scholarships
Grant Applications
A competitive grant cycle is held by the Hillsboro Community Foundation each year in early January to determine grant distributions for the upcoming year. Qualified applicants may view and apply for Available Grants at the CKCF website during the application period. Non-cycle grant requests may be submitted at any time to the HCF Director, but are subject to resource availability.
The 2024 grant cycle application period is closed. In 2025, the application period will run from January 2, 2025 through January 22, 2025 with grants awarded in mid-February.
Scholarship Applications
Scholarships are awarded by Funds held at the Hillsboro Community Foundation to graduating high school seniors on an annual basis. Students are notified about available scholarships through their school counselor and may apply for Available Scholarships at the CKCF website during the application period.
Other Services
Disaster Support
Disasters can come in many forms and strike at any time. The Hillsboro Community Foundation, through its Central Kansas Community Foundation affiliation, supports not only disaster recovery efforts, but also emergency preparedness efforts.
