2025 October Match Event

Building Hillsboro’s Future, One Gift at a Time!

MATCH MONTH BEGINS OCTOBER 1, 2025

Investing in an endowment with the Hillsboro Community Foundation is investing in the heart of Hillsboro – its people, today and for all our tomorrows. These permanent funds are a lifeline, ensuring that the same precious opportunities we value will be here for our children, their children, and beyond. When our local donors give, they’re showing an unwavering belief in the enduring spirit and bright future of our Hillsboro community. It’s a beautiful act of faith in who we are and all we can become, together.

The Match Event aims to raise at least $100,000 in local donations. These contributions will be doubled by a matching grant from the Patterson Family Foundation, resulting in a total of $200,000 in new funding.

How the Match Works

  • Donate to an endowment fund of your choice, or make a general donation to the match campaign and HCF will assign your donation to a fund on your behalf.
  • Local donations are matched by a $100,000 Patterson Family Foundation grant.
    • Grant guidelines require 50% of match funds must be designated to the Hillsboro Impact Fund or HCF Operating Endowment.
    • The remaining 50% in matching funds will be distributed to the HCF endowment funds listed below, based on the percentage of total campaign donations each fund receives.

How to Donate

You can make online donations using the “Donate” button specific to each fund listed below, or by selecting the “General Donation” button. HCF will allocate general donations to a specific fund on your behalf at the campaign’s conclusion.

For check donations, please make them payable to the Hillsboro Community Foundation and specify the desired fund in the memo field.
