Community Generosity Shines: Hillsboro Match Month Raises Over $390,000 for Local Impact
The Hillsboro Community Foundation had an amazing October Match Month. Thanks to generous local donors , we raised over $290,000 in just one month. That’s almost triple our original goal of $100,000, and it shows how much our community cares about making Hillsboro stronger.
Those local donations were amplified with an additional $100,000 matching grant from the Patterson Family Foundation bringing HCF’s October contributions total to over $390,000.
Match Month isn’t just about raising money. It’s about teamwork and impact. Every dollar donated in October was matched, which means local nonprofits, schools, and community projects will get additional support. These funds will help programs that matter most, like education, health, and services that make life better for everyone.
The Patterson Family Foundation made a huge difference by matching donations. Half of the match will go to the Hillsboro Community Foundation Operating Endowment, and the other half will be shared among other endowments. This helps make sure we can keep supporting our community for years to come.
